Since Mother’s Days should really be called Mothers for Peace Day given its origins in the U.S., here is a way to honor that intent.

I greatly admire the work of CODE PINK but all of that bright garb makes my brain go wonky. It certainly is eye-catching, which is a good thing when you are trying to get noticed during congressional hearings and whilst protesting on the streets of D.C., so I get it, I just can’t bring myself to wear the gear. Flamingo is not for me. It triggers thoughts in me of plastic-y girlishness, which is so not what they are about.

Anywho, they rock and this Mother’s Day gift program is a good thing, sez I.
